Did you know that living in Kyoto involves paying hefty fees, called shikikin, reikin to realestate agents and apartment managers? Sometimes this can mount
to as much as 100,000yen - 500,000yen (1000USD-5000USD)! This money is
usually paid up front before you move in. We, at Rent-in-Kyoto, wave these
fees.
3)We do offer rooms on a long term basis but we require proof that you are eligible
to stay more than 1 month.

3) Since our rent includes house utilities, we would very much appreciate
your co-operation regarding energy conservation. It is clear that our natural

has become an issue today. Let's be mindful of our impact on our natural
surroundings and try to conserve. It is imperative that all human-kind
think along these lines for the benefit of our future existence on Earth.
